Executive Director of Primary Health Care

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Director of Primary Health Care will provide bold, visionary leadership to drive transformation and innovation across the organization’s access and patient affiliation strategies. The role focuses on improving equitable access to healthcare through development and sustainment of the province’s Patient Medical Homes (PMHs), sustainable patient affiliation models, and recruiting and retaining staff to achieve Health PEI’s mandate of attaching all Islanders to Primary Health Care. This position requires an exceptional leader with the ability to navigate complexity, influence change, and inspire a shared vision for healthcare transformation. Duties
