Experienced Finance Analyst Wanted

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join their dynamic finance team. This role specializes in financial statement preparation and contributes to external reporting processes.
As part of the team, you'll report to the Senior Manager, External Reporting, and will be closely involved in the quarterly and annual financial close processes. This position is ideal for those with strong communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement in finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and complete financial statements and MD&A
• Assist in quarter and year-end close activities
• Enter journal entries into financial systems
• Prepare for external audit inquiries and support audits
• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis
Requirements:
• Active pursuit of an Accounting Designation
• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Relevant public company reporting experience
