Job Overview

Join Pidherneys Inc as a Water & Sewer Pipelayer and play a big role in building infrastructure around Alberta! In this hands-on and demanding role, you’ll install water lines, sewer lines and Storm drains using the latest equipment. We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a challenging environment and has a sharp eye for QC and safety.

Job Responsibilities
Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain underground utilities according to blueprints, specifications, and safety codes.

Pressure test water lines and force mains.

Check grades and make sure pipes, manholes, and fitting are installed to the contact specifications and Blueprints using levels or lasers.

Dig trenches to required depths by hand or using trenching tools. Working hand in hand with the Lead Excavator operators.
