Family Physician at Lady Minto Hospital Emergency Department (200-1841) (Permanent Family Practice)

Description
Lady Minto Hospital is seeking full-time or part-time family physicians to join our Emergency Department team. This is a highly valued and rewarding role in our well-supported rural community hospital.
Additional training in emergency medicine (CCFP-EM or FRPC) is not required, however recent emergency experience is preferred and up-to-date ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certification is needed. Flexible shifts are available with the understanding of a minimum of 6-8 shifts/month.
The ideal candidate is interested in joining a collaborative and tight-knit medical community and participating in other aspects of full-scope rural family medicine on Salt Spring, including family practice clinic or locums, inpatient care, and/or long-term care.
You'll receive excellent onboarding upon your arrival, helping you integrate smoothly into both the team and the community. Mentorship opportunities are also available.
