Job Description
Two House Officers provide in-house coverage to all medicine in-patients at St. Paul’s Hospital and Royal University Hospital between the hours of 17:00-08:00, 7 days per weekConsult support is received from specialists and sub-specialistsCompensation is $3,511.05 per 15 hour shiftPart time House Officer: 5-7 shifts of service per monthCasual House Officer: 3-4 shifts of service per month Remuneration: $3,511.05 per night of service – 17:00-08:00 Hours (pro rated for partial shifts at a rate of $234.07 per hour)
Job Qualifications
Current Saskatchewan medical licence with the Ability to obtain and maintain membership on the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) Practitioner StaffInterest and experience in hospital-based medicineComfort with building collaborative working relationships with physicians and hospital staff
