Family Physician - Private Clinic

Position Summary

The Sorrento and Area Community Health Centre Society (SACHCS) is looking for a Family Physician to join our full time Nurse Practitioner. The FFS Physician can share office space and overhead with the NP or establish their own office within the same building. The NP salary and benefits are paid by Interior Health. If desired, this is an opportunity to create a collaborative practice with an experienced NP. The Community Health Centre is located in the centre of Sorrento above the only Pharmacy in the area. Allied health professionals such as a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Naturopath, and Dentist are located within a short distance of the Health Centre. Hospital privileges would be available at The Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm which is a 25 minute drive east of Sorrento. Tertiary referral hospitals are located in Kamloops and Kelowna.
