The Namgis First Nation is looking for a physician to join the Namgis Health team. The physician will work in clinic with 2 physicians and other health team members, including 2 community care nurses, 2 mental health workers, addictions counselors, and a social worker. There are also visiting occupational therapists, social work professionals, mental health workers, intensive case managers, and a midwife. Additionally, visitors include specialists in Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, and Psychiatry. The position requires ER coverage, inpatient hospital care, and long-term patient care. Both the clinic and hospital are located on the Namgis First Nations reserve. The position is salaried and housing can be provided.
