Family School Liaison Worker

We are now accepting applications for a Family School Liaison Worker to work as part of a team providing service to students at St. Luke’s Outreach Centre, located in Okotoks, Alberta.

The primary role of the Family School Liaison Worker is to provide connection and supports to students who are struggling with social, emotional and/or behavioral issues with the focus of enhancing success at school. Student coping strategies are enhanced through the provision of individual supportive counselling, targeted skills groups, classroom presentations, universal prevention programs, community referrals and community collaboration. The Family School Liaison Worker also acts as a liaison between home, school and community to promote the coordination and collaboration of services.
