Definition

Receives general supervision from the Welder/Fabricator Supervisor to perform specialized tasks in fence installation and repair; perform general maintenance; work with skilled trades in a variety of jobs; fence installation and maintenance work; and perform duties as assigned. Representative Duties

Perform basic building and maintenance tasks in fencing, basic carpentry and surface work. (E) Install and maintain a variety of playground equipment. (E) Use a variety of general maintenance tools and equipment. (E) Assist with planning, layout and cost estimation. (E) Perform light welding work. (E) Maintain regular and prompt attendance in the workplace. (E) Perform related duties as assigned. (E) Knowledge and Abilities
