Field Automotive Service Technician Opportunity

Join Valard Construction as an Automotive Service Technician and support the Waasigan Project Team in northwestern Ontario. This field-based role focuses on vehicle repairs and maintenance with a 20 days on / 8 days off schedule.
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician with Journeyperson certification. You'll work independently, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues across a fleet while keeping accurate records. This position requires proficiency in diagnostic tools like JalTest and Ford IDS to maintain our fleet's safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on project vehicles
• Utilize diagnostic software effectively for accurate troubleshooting
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and vehicle safety
• Maintain detailed documentation of all repairs and parts used
• Recommend additional maintenance needs to the Fleet Supervisor
