Field Geologist at Baffinland

Embark on an adventure as a Field Geologist with Baffinland at the Mary River Mine Site. This role involves hands-on geological work, sample collection, and outdoor activities in an extraordinary location.
You will work closely with the Project Geologist and team members to conduct essential geological investigations. Being a field-based position, you will spend significant time outdoors, which may include working during night shifts. Candidates must be prepared for physical challenges, including walking long distances and helicopter commutes as you support the exploration team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Log and prepare drill core for shipment
• Conduct traverses for geological mapping and sampling
• Assist in processing and managing core samples
• Engage in fieldwork for geological inspections
• Maintain adherence to safety procedures and protocols
