Job Information
The Legislative Assembly is seeking a Finance and Procurement Officer who will be responsible for managing financial transaction processing, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, vendor and customer records, payroll compliance, and benefits administration of the Legislative Assembly. This role also oversees procurement, contracting services for Member of the Legislative Assembly, Statutory Offices, and the Office of the Clerk.
Key Responsibilities
- Approve processing financial transactions entered into GNWT ERP System, pursuant to applicable Section of the Financial Administration Act.
- Provide financial and technical information and support.
- Prepare and/or schedule appropriate financial transaction processing and reconciliations.
