Finance/Payroll Specialist

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for our multi-entity manufacturing, engineering and construction organization across the United States and Canada. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations for both salaried and hourly employees while maintaining strict confidentiality and providing excellent internal service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for US and Canadian hourly and salaried employees on weekly and bi-weekly cycles.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and retroactive pay adjustments.
