We are a growing business in the battery management system (BMS) and energy storage sector, looking for a hands‑on Finance & HR Manager to build and manage our core financial and people operations. This is a high‑impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys building systems from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, payroll, general ledger)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models
- Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations (GST, PST, corporate tax)
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
- Support with SR&ED tax credits and other tax incentive programs
