Financial Analyst Contract - Toronto

This position requires a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to prepare monthly work papers and perform variance analytics. You will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, month-end journal entries, and facilitating both internal and external audits while preparing essential ad-hoc reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations at period closes
• Ensure accurate journal entries at month end
• Assist in quarterly and annual audits
• Develop ad-hoc reporting as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills
• Must reside in the Greater Toronto Area
• Authorized to work in Canada
