Financial Controls Analyst

Job Summary

At Canadian Natural, a leader in Canada’s energy industry, we seek a Financial Controls Analyst to provide assurance over internal controls over financial reporting within our oil and gas operations. The role involves assessing internal controls, performing accounting walkthroughs, and advising on control design. The analyst will work on annual regulatory compliance in Canada and the US, collaborating with stakeholders and external auditors.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the annual assessment of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with National Instrument 52-109 and the Sarbanes‑Oxley Act (SOX)
• Contribute to the risk assessment and analysis of financial statements and related accounts to determine the scope of the assessment
