Fire watch / Spark watch positions

Boucher Bros Lumber Ltd. is looking to add new Team Members on our maintenance team, to fill the roles of Fire Watch (spark watch). The position involves shift work and requires a mature individual who can work independently, with a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will assist our welders with Fire Watch (spark watch), cleaning, building checks, and other duties as assigned. This role could qualify for industrial trades apprenticeship credit hours. The successful candidate must have reliable transportation due to the hours of work.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license
• Physically fit
• Team player but also possess the ability to work alone.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Written and oral communication skills in English and/or French.
