Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Specialist

Location: Saskatoon, Canada

Employment Terms: Full-time, Permanent

Salary range based on experience/education.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FSQA Manager in ensuring overall quality and food safety, managing regulatory, company, and customer policies and programs.
• Ensure all products meet company specifications and are produced in a wholesome manner that meets company requirements.
• Work closely with other departments on production issues, product dispositions, and investigations into root causes for deficiencies.
• Assist in managing quality programs and exercising technical expertise, including training, assessing performance, and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Poultry Science or a related field (preferred).
