Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychotherapy or Nursing
• Registered to practice psychotherapy with a regulatory body in Ontario
• Ability to demonstrate expertise in the field of Mental Health & Addictions through a combination of experience and training
• Knowledge and ability to assess, screen, safety plan, and provide best practice therapy
• Awareness and ability to recognize and assess levels of risk and provide appropriate interventions and safety planning
• Ability to work autonomously with limited need for supervision
• Knowledge of community resources for the purpose of networking, collaboration, and referral when required
• Dependable, competent and continued ability to carry out responsibilities
• Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within district sites
