Full-Time RISE Case Specialist Surrey

Support vulnerable refugees as a RISE Case Specialist fluent in both Karen and Burmese. This full-time role focuses on cultural brokerage and tailored case management in the Surrey and Delta areas.
We are looking for a compassionate RISE Case Specialist to contribute to our Refugee & Immigrant Specialized Experience program. This position emphasizes enhancing client independence via personalized needs assessments, service navigation, and community connection. You will provide culturally informed support as refugees adapt to their new surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outreach to connect with potential clients
• Provide intake assessments and appropriate service referrals
• Develop personalized service and action plans
• Facilitate life skills training sessions and workshops
• Offer emotional support and crisis intervention services
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in human or social services
• One year experience in refugee case management
