Role and Facility Information

The Division of General Surgery at ARHCC and the Fraser Health Authority are looking to hire an acute care general surgeon to join the group, including one existing ACS surgeon.

It is expected that the applicant will be proficient in a broad range of acute care general surgery and emergent endoscopy. The ideal applicant will also be comfortable with trauma surgery.

As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of General Surgery, UBC. Other surgical specialties include urology, orthopedics, ENT, plastics, thoracic surgery and OBGYN.

There are currently eight general surgeons in the group servicing the busy catchment area of Fraser East.
