Description
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, the Project Geologist is responsible for the following:
- Own, coordinate and execute all geology Grade Control modelling and assist with related drilling activities in a proactive, efficient and timely manner.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to the Mine Geologists and Field Staff
- Contribute to short, medium and long-term (LOM) mine plans and schedules to ensure the development of optimised mine plans
- Monitor face and drill sample and assay quality, follow up QAQC issues.
About the Business
Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold Mine produces 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, the Company plans to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production.
