Geriatric Mental Health Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse

Salary: CAD $41.42 – $55.91 per hour.

Hours: Start/stop times, days off, work area, and site may be subject to change per operations, the collective agreement, and statutes. Testing and a criminal record check may be required.

Location: Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, Mount St. Joseph's Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Shifts primarily 07:30‑19:30 and 19:30‑07:30.

Your duties will include

• Patient Care and Assessment: Review patient/resident status, assess problems and needs, develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans, monitor progress, document observations, and modify plans based on evaluations.
• Crisis Management and Interventions: Provide direct nursing interventions for crisis and life‑threatening situations, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to patient needs.
