Join the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry in Nanaimo as a Geriatric Psychiatrist, providing essential consultation and leadership in various care settings, either full time or part time.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of three Geriatric Psychiatrists to deliver exceptional care in Acute Inpatient, Outpatient, and Residential Care settings. The role offers opportunities to consult in remote areas via the NITAOP program and contributes to the Island-wide Tertiary Geriatric Psychiatry program. Clinical teaching and program development are integral parts of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide geriatric consultation in diverse healthcare settings
• Lead multidisciplinary GEM team for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in the NRGH General Psychiatry call rotation
• Engage in teaching for the Island Medical Program
• Contribute to the Island-wide Dementia Strategy development
