Global Factory Information Systems Engineer

Your Role

Factory Information Systems (FIS) is Aptiv’s developed and owned system used to track and monitor manufacturing processes. We are looking for an IT engineer who will be part of the Global Factory Information Systems team and will operate globally.

Responsibilities

• Software development according to given quality standards and within given time
• Develop in-depth understanding of manufacturing process
• Actively participate in the investigation, design and deployment of a global Factory Information System
• Act as technical subject matter expert to support ongoing operations. Participate in incident management process and problem resolution. Coordinate new system deployments globally
• Provide technical consultation to production sites in the area of application functionality, configuration and interfacing capabilities
