Yaw Smatmc! (Hello Friend)Our Nuxalk Acwsalcmlslayc Academy of Learning Society (NAALS) office is located at Snxlhh (now called 4-Mile Subdivision) in Nuxalk territory adjacent to Acwsalcta School, which is one of the most architecturally beautiful schools in B.C., and features exquisite designs by local Nuxalk artists. Our school is a Nursery to Grade 12 school, and boasts a Head Start and Language Immersion Preschool program, and we have a licensed Daycare on site. Acwsalcta School is an independent school, and offers many locally developed courses along with the Ministry of Education's graduation program.Acwsalcta School offers a large range of programs including Outdoor Education, Traditional Foods and Nuxalk Language and Culture classes.Acwsalcta means “A Place of Learning”.
