O'Chiese Education Authority is currently accepting applications for one Grade 7,8 and 9 Science Teacher with Grade 8 Homeroom for the 2027/2028 school year.The applicant will have:a background highly specialized in Junior High teaching strategies strong classroom managementan understanding of the inquiry modelbe willing to incorporate Indigenous Ways of Knowing and land-based activities into Science lessons an ability to build rapport with students in multiple classesexperience working with a diverse set of student needs and providing appropriate programming for those students the ability to differentiate instruction the ability to work as a team with Educational Assistants and other staff membersOur school has approximately 240 students from K-12, 18 teaching staff, and 17 support staff.
