Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair according to client instructions or preferences.
• Analyse hair and scalp condition and provide custom treatments.
• Advise clients on beauty care treatments and recommend suitable hairstyles.
• Apply hair extensions, bleach, tints, dyes, rinses and perform colouring techniques such as bleaching, streaking and highlighting.
• Provide other hair treatments including waving, straightening, and scalp-conditioning massages.
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• Supervise apprentices or students in training.
