Hands-On Veterinary Technician Practicum

Elevate your veterinary skills in Stratford, Ontario, with NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program. Ideal for final-year students, this experience enhances patient care and clinical abilities.

Offering practicum durations of two to eight weeks, students will work under the guidance of experienced RVTs and veterinarians. You will focus on vital areas such as laboratory procedures, anesthesia, and surgical assistance while developing skills in effective communication with both patients and medical teams. A stipend is available for eligible students to help offset travel costs, enabling a focus on learning and growth.
