Description
Help produce top-quality cherries as a Harvest and Orchard Maintenance Worker for Jealous Fruits in beautiful British Columbia. This role involves hands-on work in the orchards and during peak harvest times.
In this full-time seasonal position under the guidance of the Orchard Manager or Supervisor, you’ll perform various tasks such as tree maintenance, irrigation system installation, and assist in cherries’ picking and packing processes. Adherence to safety and quality standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prune, plant, and thin trees as instructed
• Assist in irrigation setup and soil preparation
• Safely pick and handle cherries
• Help with packing, weighing, and sorting fruits
• Support maintenance of general farm tools and equipment
Requirements:
• Capability to lift 25 lbs regularly
