Head of Mechanical

We are currently looking for a permanent Head of Mechanical to join our team at Dunbar Cement Plant. This role is site based 5 days per week, Monday to Friday on a 37 hour week. Role Responsibility

• Medium to long-term objectives of the Mechanical Maintenance department, acting as a champion for engineering improvements and promoting best practices for the Plant.
• Managing and motivating the team, ensuring coordination and cooperation between Maintenance and other Plant departments.
• Identifying skills gaps within the team, building plans for development including 1-2-1s and PDPs, and supporting longer-term retention and succession planning.
