Main Functions:Manage and oversee rigging operationsAct as the lead rigger during rehearsals and performancesEnsure the rigging team and technical personnel respect standards and regulations regarding the safety of rigging equipment, and apply safe work methodsDevelop and update training and succession programs to ensure continuity of rigging operations during performance runsInspect and maintain rigging equipment, and keep records of inspections and alterationsSupport the Technical Director by taking part in the process of hiring new technicians, managing team budgets and projecting expendituresRequeriments:College or University- Live entertainment or theatre production (or relevant work experience)5+ years Experience in the entertainment industry3+ years Experience in a management or leader role3+ years Experience in working in a live performing environmentAvanced English
