Health, Safety & Environment Manager – Mars Snacking (Newmarket)

Job Description:ို့ The HSE Manager oversees the company‑wide safety, environmental, and security programs for the site, ensuring personnel safety, asset protection, and environmental compliance. Responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day processes, creating and amending policies, and ensuring adherence to provincial OHSA, insurance, corporate guidelines, and EPA requirements.

• The role has one direct report: HSE Technician.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Safety Management, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment, including government requirements and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Ministry of Environment (MOE) requirements and related guidelines. ...
