Health & Safety Manager

Title in the Contract

The position is referred to as the Contractor’s Qualified Safety Coordinator (Workplace Safety Coordinator). This is the contractual equivalent of the Safety Manager role.

Qualifications

• Must have at least ten (10) years cumulative direct experience as a safety coordinator on similar projects of comparable scope.
• Must be interviewed and approved by Metro Vancouver before being assigned.
• The Owner reserves the right to approve or reject based on qualifications, experience, and suitability.

Presence on Site

• The Safety Manager must be physically located on‑site for the duration of the Project.
• Remote supervision is only permitted with prior written approval of the Owner.
