Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Health & Safety Specialistto support our Victoria Branch (6836 Kirkpatrick Crescent, Saanichton, BC V8M 1Z9), reporting to the Health & Safety Supervisor.
A Day In The Life
- Manage the safety requirements of operational construction sites and equipment
- Conduct safety evaluations of Flynn project sites using documentation and standardized processes
- Ensure that sub-contractors adhere to required safety standards in keeping with Flynn policy/legislation
- Identifying potential risks and safety hazards during a project with involvement throughout the job life cycle (estimate, pre-mobilization, construction and autopsy)
- Performing accident and incident investigations as per the company’s health and safety programs
