Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Health & Safety Specialist to support our Victoria Branch (6836 Kirkpatrick Crescent, Saanichton, BC V8M 1Z9), reporting to the Health & Safety Supervisor. Manage the safety requirements of operational construction sites and equipment Conduct safety evaluations of Flynn project sites using documentation and standardized processes Ensure that sub-contractors adhere to required safety standards in keeping with Flynn policy/legislation Identifying potential risks and safety hazards during a project with involvement throughout the job life cycle (estimate, pre-mobilization, construction and autopsy) Performing accident and incident investigations as per the company’s health and safety programs Maintain a conducive working relationship with all management, superintendents, project managers through education and giving practical on site application options
