Heavy Equipment Technician - Shop (On-Highway)

The Opportunity:

Located in Grande Prairie, be part of an accomplished team committed to delivering best-in-class service and technical expertise in a busy shop specializing in Allison transmission, engine repairs and overhauls.

The Role:

Heavy Equipment Technicians work Monday to Friday with occasional overtime opportunities. Your expertise will be key in ensuring first-time-right diagnostics and repair of, but not limited to:

• Allison transmissions
• Detroit and MTU Truck and Industrial engines

Education:

• Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice

Work Experience:

• 2-3 years relevant experience

Knowledge & Skills:

• Safety focused
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Keep your work areas, benches, and toolboxes clean and organized
