Job Title: Hospitalist – Thoracic Surgery
Work Site: Vancouver General Hospital
Status: Permanent – Full Time, Part time
Start Date: To be mutually agreed upon
Compensation Type: Alternative Payment Arrangement
Come work as a full time Hospitalist – Thoracic Surgery with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! The service is seven days a week (rotating week‑ends), nine hours per day of day‑time coverage for a ward of approximately 18 beds. Part time hours can be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical coverage for the Thoracic Surgery Ward at Vancouver General Hospital.
- Work in close collaboration with the Thoracic Surgeons and nurse‑practitioners to provide medical care for the full scope of thoracic surgery patients, including lung transplant.
