Avicanna is seeking an HR Coordinator for its Toronto office, focusing on vital HR processes including recruitment, employee support, and operational efficiency.
This role involves overseeing HR administration for a workforce of about 40 employees while reporting to the CFO. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with Ontario’s employment laws. You'll play a critical role in improving employee satisfaction and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation
• Support structured recruitment processes and job postings
• Act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries
• Identify and advocate for process improvements in HR
