Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator role focuses on providing general advice and recommendations on the interpretation of collective agreements, other agreements and handbooks governing conditions of employment within the VP Finance & Operations portfolio. This position also provides advice and support regarding recruitment activities and the hiring process.
Organizational Status
Reports to the Manager or Senior Human Resources Manager, VPFO, and works collaboratively with VPFO HR team and supportively with VPFO staff and management.
Work Performed
Provides advice and support on recruitment activities and is responsible for the hiring process within Workday, including but not limited to the following activities: job descriptions, external postings, reviewing resumes, conducting telephone screenings, coordinating and participating in interviews, conducting reference checks, extending offers of employment....
