Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Responsibilities If selected at the GS-09 or GS-11 grade levels, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity. Plans, establishes, and administers all training and development requirements for serviced employees. Works with management to promote an understanding of the reasons, objectives, policies, and practices regarding workforce planning, with particular focus on skills and workforce development. Ensures mandatory training is provided to meet certification requirements and/or other strategic needs of the Agency. Develops long-term workforce development strategies to address employee skills imbalances and prepare employees to meet Agency needs. Maintains employee training records, including the accuracy and adequacy of skills to support organizational skills gap analysis, individual skill gap analysis, and the establishment of Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
