Import Export Manager

Responsible for planning, directing and ensuring compliance with the company's foreign trade operations in Matamoros, Mexico, applicable regulations of the IMMEX program, as well as the optimization of logistics and customs processes.

Main responsibilities:

• To manage and supervise import and export operations in accordance with current legislation.
• Ensure compliance with the IMMEX program, Annex 24 and Annex 31
• Coordinate customs brokers, carriers, and logistics providers
• Ensure correct tariff classification (HTS), determination of origin, and compliance with non-tariff regulations
• Control foreign trade inventories and report reconciliation.
• Lead internal and external audits in foreign trade matters
• Identify opportunities for improvement in costs, times and operational efficiency.
• Manage and develop the foreign trade team.
