Industrial Applications Specialist

Job Summary
The Industrial Applications Specialist plays a key role in the deployment, integration, and maintenance of the industrial data historian system and middleware at Septodont. As the subject matter expert for historian and middleware, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams including IT, Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless data collection, storage, visualization, and integration with automation equipment, SCADA, HMI, and MES systems. The Specialist will serve as the main point of contact for updates, improvements, support, and maintenance once the system is live, reporting to the Senior IT Manager, EBR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the implementation and subsequent upgrades of the data historian system and components in conjunction with the MES deployment.
• Design and configure historian and middleware architecture for data collection from automation equipment (including PLCs), SCADA, and MES.
