Infectious Disease Specialist - Burnaby Hospital

Overview

Burnaby Hospital is seeking a full time locum Infectious Diseases Specialist to provide consultative inpatient and Home IV/OPAT care. The successful candidate will join our team of two other ID specialists, working in collaboration with the regional infectious diseases network. The candidate will also collaborate with hospitalists, internal medicine specialists and other specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative inpatient and Home IV/OPAT care
• Collaborate with the regional infectious diseases network
• Collaborate with hospitalists, internal medicine specialists and other specialties

Dates: ASAP – April 2025

Qualifications

• FRCPC Infectious Diseases
• CPSBC Full (Eligible for Full License)

Compensation

• Fee-for-service
• MOCAP - on call payments
• Sessional - for non-billable Home IV services
