Job Description

In this role, you’ll join WSP’s Mining Environmental Approvals team supporting permitting and approvals for operating and proposed metal mines in Ontario, focusing on water management and water quality components.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental permitting and approvals for operating and proposed metal mines in Ontario, with a focus on water management and water quality components.
• Prepare and coordinate permit and approval applications, technical reports, and environmental management and monitoring plans related to water quality.
• Review project plans to assess potential impacts to surface water and groundwater quality, documenting compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Contribute to water quality monitoring programs, including design support, implementation support, data review, interpretation, and reporting.
