The Opportunity
The IPAC Specialist will support our Environmental and IPAC Teams in the implementation and management of environmental infection prevention and control strategies. The IPAC Specialist will have knowledge, education and experience in infection prevention and control practices and will build and maintain competency and capacity of LTC home teams while supporting a culture of compliance and adherence to IPAC standards, best practices, legislative requirements and AgeCare Policies and Procedures.
This role is responsible for supporting operations across Central West and Southwest Ontario.

- Support home implementation of audit program – including interrater reliability, training of auditors and data analysis.
- Participation/ facilitation of Environmental Team and IPAC Lead communities of practice and support standardization of IPAC practices across the homes.
