IT Engineer – 12-month Contract

This role is a 12-month contract position with Huawei Canada, based in Kingston, Ontario. The candidate will be responsible for regional and office network implementation, IT infrastructure management, and help-desk support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Network implementation and maintenance, including WAN/LAN/Voice solution design, equipment configuration and deployment, and troubleshooting.
• System implementation and maintenance of Windows servers, web applications, databases, and storage systems.
• Construction and maintenance of IT infrastructure such as server rooms, structured cabling, video conferencing systems, and UPS.
• Service-provider quotation, bidding, negotiation, and supervision of engineering work.
