Basic Qualifications
: The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch AND possesses one or more of the following:Training Specifications: Elementary Education with major/minor in musicRelated Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience as an Elementary Music TeacherA Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staffAdditional Qualifications: -Training/skill in the Kodaly method and/or the Orff approach to music instruction-Strong singing skillsOther: Own transportation for travel between schools is necessary - mileage reimbursed as per the Collective Agreement The annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $64,901 to $116,190 with placement o...Ready to Seal the Deal?
