Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions – Java Software Engineer
Location: Guadalajara, Mexico
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and support custom software solutions for world‑class retailers. Create and extend the automation / continuous integration platform. Work closely with QA to deliver quality software. Produce user documentation. Provide configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance support. Work primarily in Linux environments.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of Java software development.
• Computer science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
• Familiarity with the software engineering lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience with Linux‑based operating systems.
Preferred Skills:
• Linux kernel, advanced Bash, boot sequence.
• TrueNAS/FreeBSD administration.
• Windows programming: PowerBasic, AutoIT.
