Journeyman Maintenance Technician - Nunavut

WHAT'S THE JOB?

The Licensed Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical infrastructure in remote camp facilities, with a focus on gas, plumbing, electrical systems, and commercial appliances. This role ensures all mechanical and utility systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards. The technician will also support preventative maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and general facility upkeep to ensure uninterrupted operations in a challenging northern environment. Ideal candidates will hold a valid trade license (e.g., Gasfitter, Plumber, Electrician, or Commercial Appliances) and demonstrate strong technical expertise, safety awareness, and adaptability to remote work conditions.
